At the intersection of technology and journalism is me (sometimes), worrying about the future and learning about the past.

I’m an undergraduate student at Northwestern University. I expect to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism by March 2019, along with a minor in computer science and a certificate in design from the Segal Design Institute.

I serve as publisher for North by Northwestern, the campus experimental newsmagazine, where I learn and experience what it means to innovate in a news media publication.

I am the sponsorship lead and treasurer of Northwestern Formula Racing. The team constructs a new racecar in the style Formula 1 vehicles to compete in the Michigan Formula SAE competition every year.

I publish a blog titled “Leo in America,” where I write about my experiences living in the United States. I often write about topics relating to identity, belonging, and the future of journalism, although not necessarily in that order.
