Shade control panel

In spring 2017, I noticed that the shade controls in a Ford Motor Company Engineering Design Company classroom were poorly constructed. The three unlabeled buttons did not intuitively map to controls of the automated window shades; there are no arrows nor other settings to communicate how the controls work.

At the end of a lecture session on service design, I tore off a strip of masking tape and labelled the controls.

As of March 2018, the labels have not been removed.
